- Notice is hereby given The Mayor and City Council of Helper City, A Municipal Corporation, will hold a regular meeting On the 3rd day of July 2025 at the Council Chambers 19 South Main, Helper, Utah. The meeting shall begin at 6:00 pm. Revised Agenda 1- Call to order. 2- Pledge of Allegiance. 3- Roll call. 4- Public Comment. 5- Approval of the minutes from the June 3, 2025, June 5, 2025, & June 19, 2025 meeting minutes. 6- Presentation of an award to Officer Lara Olson. 7- Discussion and possible approval of providing swim passes to JackFM in exchange for marketing. 8- Discussion and possible approval updating the Excavation Permit. 9- Discussion and possible approval of parking signs at Locust St. Park. 10- Update on Helper Express Playground from the Friends of the Helper Area. 11- Discussion and possible approval of equipment rental from A-1 Rental to mow weeds around town. 12- Discussion and possible approval of Special Event Permit. 13- Discussion and possible approval of expanding the security system. 14- Discussion and approval of appointing Traci Bishop as the City Recorder and Lori Prettyman as the City Treasurer. Reports only from Council Members and Department Heads. Closed session. Adjournment: The public is invited to submit questions or comments 24 hours before the meeting on agenda items only by calling (435) 472-5391 or emailing recorder@helpercity.gov. I, Traci Bishop, Helper City Recorder, do hereby certify the above notice and agenda was posted on the 2nd day of July, 2025, at City Hall, helpercity.gov, and the Utah Public Notice Website. The agenda was provided to the media at least 24 hours before such a meeting. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City of Helper will make reasonable accommodations to participate in the meeting. Request for assistance can be made by calling (435) 472-5391 at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting to be attended.
