- Notice is hereby given that the Sanpete County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider and potentially recommend for approval an ordinance change to the Sanpete County Subdivision Ordinance 13.08.060 Exemptions from Plat Requirements - Small Subdivisions. As well as Roadway Design and Construction Manual page 119 regarding Flowable Fill requirements on Figure 19. As well as a noise ordinance for barking dogs on properties found within any buffer zone in the county. To view a map and more specific description of the proposed affected area, please contact Steven Jenson at the Sanpete County Zoning Office in Manti, Utah (435-835-2115). Anyone objecting to the proposed plat change must file a written objection with the Sanpete County Clerk's Office at the Sanpete County Courthouse within 10 days of the date of this Notice. A public hearing has been scheduled at the Sanpete County Commission Chambers in the Sanpete County Courthouse on the day of August 13, 2025, at 7:00p.m. If no written objections are received, the public hearing will be cancelled.
