- AMERICAN FORK CITY COUNCIL MAY 27, 2025 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA *Notice of Electronic Meeting* One or more City Council members may be physically absent from this meeting but may participate electronically. The American Fork City Council will meet in a regular session on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in the American Fork City Hall, 31 North Church Street, commencing at 7:00 p.m. The agenda shall be as follows: REGULAR SESSION 1. Pledge of Allegiance; Invocation by Council Member Hunter; roll call. 2. Twenty-minute public comment period - limited to two minutes per person. 3. City Administrator's Report 4. Council Reports 5. Mayor's Report COMMON CONSENT AGENDA (Common Consent is that class of Council action that requires no further discussion or which is routine in nature. All items on the Common Consent Agenda are adopted by a single motion unless removed from the Common Consent Agenda.) 1. Approval of the April 22, 2025, city council minutes. 2. Approval of the May 6, 2025, work session minutes. 3. Acceptance of a Stormwater Easement located at approximately 829 North and 847 North 290 East. 4. Approval of the authorization to release the Improvements Construction Guarantee and issue a Notice of Acceptance for the Fenn Farms Phase 1 & 2 construction of public improvements located at 350 South 700 West. 5. Approval of the authorization to release the Improvements Construction Guarantee in the amount of $462,623.39 and issue a Notice of Acceptance for the American Fork North Apartments 860 Apartments (Solhavn) construction of public improvements located at 620 South 860 East. 6. Ratification of city payments (May 7, 2025, to May 20, 2025) and approval of purchase requests over $50,000. ACTION ITEMS 1. Review and action on a resolution approving the renaming of 'Art Dye Park' to 'Mary and Art Dye Park'. 2. Review and action on a Commercial Site Plan parking reduction request for 500 East Auto Mall Drive Business Center Plat B, located at approximately 452 East Auto Mall Drive. 3. Review and action on approval of the Library Consortium MOU with Highland City and Pleasant Grove City. 4. Review and action on an ordinance approving a Code Text Amendment, known as Storm Water Management and Discharge Control. Amending Section 13.94, the Code Text Amendment plans to modify subsections 13.94.020, 13.94.030, 13.94.070, 13.94.090 and 13.94.100 to be compliant with updated state regulations. These updates include modifying enforcement measures, clarifying responsibilities of property owners related to runoff, creating a new stormwater inspection process and updating the review process to meet state requirements. 5. Adjournment.
