- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF HUNTSVILLE TOWN, THURSDAY, JUNE 5th, 2025 Huntsville Town hereby gives notice to all concerned parties that Huntsville Town has received a request to vacate a portion of the alley located at approximately 400 South and 7350 East. The portion of the alley is approximately .20 acres or 8,370 square feet. Please see enclosed map referenced by the legal description given below: PROPOSED ALLEY VACATION AREA A PART OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 9, PLAT 'A', HUNTSVILLE TOWN SURVEY, BEING IN THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 6 NORTH, RANGE 2 EAST, SALT LAKE BASE AND MERIDIAN, HUNTSVILLE, WEBER COUNTY, UTAH. BEGINNING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 8 BLOCK 9, OF SAID PLAT 'A', WHICH IS; AND RUNNING THENCE SOUTH 01'19'32' EAST 264.49 FEET ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID LOT 8 AND LOT 1 TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SAID LOT 1; THENCE SOUTH 88'41'08' WEST 33.00 FEET ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID BLOCK 9 TO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 2, BLOCK 9, OF SAID PLAT 'A'; THENCE NORTH 01'19'28' WEST 264.49 FEET ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID LOT 2 & LOT 3 TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID LOT 3; THENCE NORTH 88'41'21' EAST 33.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING, CONTAINING 8,730 SQ. FT. Any protest to this request can be mailed to Huntsville Town, P.O. box 267, Huntsville, UT 84317, and received no later than 4:00 p.m. on June 5, 2025. Protests can also be received by email to clerk@huntsvilleutah.gov and will be included in comments to the Town Council. A public hearing to discuss this matter is scheduled to take place on June 5, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Huntsville Town Hall Council Chambers, 7474 East 200 South, Huntsville, Utah 84317. All interested persons shall be given the opportunity to be heard. The public is welcome to attend.
