- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Syracuse Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 6 pm in the Council Chambers of City Hall - 1979 West 1900 South, to discuss the following matters: Site Plan: Request by Chad Spencer for approval of a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center expansion at approximately 535 W 2700 S. The project contains approximately 3.35 acres in the A-1 zone. Zoning Amendment: Request by Fort Street Partners for a rezone at approximately 3400 W 1700 S. The proposed General Commercial (GC) zoning will be applied to approximately 1.58 acres currently zoned Residential (R-1). Site Plan: Request by Greg Day for approval of a commercial site plan at approximately 1602 S W 3000 W. The intended project contains approximately 0.58 acre in the General Commercial (GC) zone.
