- Planning Commission Meeting and Public Hearing for the Town of Genola Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of Genola will hold a public meeting in the Public Safety Building located at 455 N. Main on the above date. The meeting will commence at 7:00 p.m. This will be a public meeting where action may be taken on the agenda items. The public is invited to attend the meeting. The Agenda for the meeting will be as follows: Call to Order a. Opening Prayer b. Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Minutes for April 3, 2025 Attachments: April 3rd Draft Public Forum BUSINESS Discussion and possible action on a proposed rezone for LKBD Investments parcel #29.035.0171 located at approximately 366 S 800 E in Genola from A-1 Agricultural to R-1 Residential. Public Hearing The purpose of this hearing is to consider a proposed zone change petition from A-1 Agricultural Zone to the R-1 Residential Zone for the property owned by LKBD Investments parcel #29.035.0171 located at approximately 366 S 800 E in Genola. Motion to Open the Public Hearing Motion to Close the Public Hearing Attachments: Vail LKBD Map Discussion and possible action on a proposed site plan for a new home for Wesley Zufelt located at approximately 2232 North York Lane in the York Farm Estates Subdivision Lot 1 Parcel #56.047.0001 Attachments: Zufelt Site Plan Discussion and possible action on a proposed site plan for a home addition for Kevin and Lori Carter located at 169 W 800 S Genola in the F. Mecham Subdivision Plat C Lot 6 Parcel #39.162.0006 Attachments: Updated Carter Site Plan Discussion and possible action on a requested water service to a property owned by Brent Garner Located at 25 South Main in the Garner Acres Subdivision plat A Lot 2 Parcel #40.503.0002 Attachments: Garner Map Discussion and possible action on a proposed amendment to the Building Permit Requirements Ordinance Public Hearing for an amendment on the building Permit Ordinance The purpose of this public hearing is to gather public input on amendments to no longer require paper plans and instead have everything electronic, to require a ResCheck, Manual J, gas schematics, and soils reports for all new homes among other possible changes. Motion to Open the Public Hearing Motion to Close the Public Hearing Discussion and possible action on a proposed amendment to the subdivision ordinance. removal of DRC, culdesac frontage, soils report and compaction for all new roads Discussion and possible action on a proposed amendment to the R-1 Zoning Ordinance building in the public utility easement Commission Comments New Planning Commissioner is Michael Maughan starts at the June Meeting Motion to adjourn
