- UTILITY FUND TRANSFER 2 0 2 5 2 0 2 6 OREM UTILITY CUSTOMERS Each year, the City is required by law to purchase certain services from itself. It sounds strange, but this is how it works. Instead of using additional tax dollars to purchase the services, the State allows the City to transfer money between the water, sewer, storm water, street light, and general funds to cover the cost of those services, without raising taxes. Money is transferred between the various funds (as shown below) with an instantaneous back-andforth transfer. Neither fund has a net increase or decrease.

- THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS. If you need a special accommodation to participate in the City Council Meetings and Study Sessions, please call the City Recorder's Office (801-229-7298) at least 3 working days prior to the meeting.
