- La Verkin City Council Meeting Agenda Wednesday, May 21, 2025, 6:00 p.m. Council Chambers, 111 S. Main, La Verkin, Utah Meeting Called to Order: Invocation by Invitation; Pledge of Allegiance Presentation: 1. Nick Wright, HVFD 2. Scholarship recipients A. Consent Agenda: (Items on the consent agenda may not require discussion. These items will be a single motion unless removed at the request of the Mayor or City Council.) 1. Declarations of conflict of interest 2. Agenda 3. Meeting Minutes: May 7, 2025, regular meeting. 4. Checks and Invoices: $190,039.01 B. Public Hearing: 1. Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Tentative Budget. C. Business: 1. Discussion and possible action to approve Resolution R-2025-05, a resolution adopting the budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026. 2. Discussion and possible action to approve the Fields Condominium Conversion Project, separate tax ID numbers, subject to the terms of a possible Development Agreement. 3. Review and Possible Approval of City Action to Eradicate Nuisance at 120 North 60 East. 4. Discussion regarding adopting Washington County Water Conservancy District Conservation plan. 5. Discussion and possible action to approve the bid for the Zion Regional Trail improvement. 6. Discussion and possible action to approve the expenditure of funds for the improvements at the Zion Pocket Park. D. Mayor & Council Reports: Mayor Wilson: Blair Gubler: Washington County Solid Waste, Homeland Security/CERT Wise: Planning Commission/Zoning, Beautification/Trails Committee, Economic Development/Tourism Micah Gubler: Public Safety, Recreation/City Festivals Hirschi: Fire District, Ash Creek Special Service District, DTEC Prince: Southwest Mosquito Abatement, Historical Preservation Fay Reber: City updates G. Citizen Comment & Request for Future Agenda Items: No action may be taken on a matter raised under this agenda item. This item is reserved for the citizens of La Verkin who have items not listed on this agenda. There is a time limit of 20 minutes with each individual taking no more than 3 minutes. H.
