- TOOELE CITY CORPORATION ADVERTISEMENT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Separate sealed Bids for the completion of the 2025 TOOELE CITY WELLS DRILLING PROJECT Project will be received by the owner at: RECORDERS OFFICE - ROOM 227 TOOELE CITY HALL 90 NORTH MAIN TOOELE, UTAH 84074 At prevailing local time until Thursday, June 5th, 2025, at 2:00 PM MST, at which time bids will be opened and read publicly in Suite 224. The 2025 Tooele City Wells Drilling Project (Hereafter referred to as 'Project') consists of: Drilling and zone-testing of two exploration wells in Tooele City, as shown in the drawings. The estimated total drilling depth of each exploration borehole is up to 1200 feet. The Project shall be substantially completed by 18 months from Notice to Proceed. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS will be available on Wednesday, May 21st, 2025. Bid documents will be posted by Tooele City. Please contact Laura at laurab@tooelecity.gov for an electronic copy of the bid documents. No printed copies will be provided. The costs to prepare Bids as described in the Bidding Documents are the sole responsibility of the Bidder. For questions contact Andrew Hobson, J-U-B Engineers: 385-290-9368, ahobson@jub.com. The last day for questions shall be Monday, June 2nd, 2025. All questions will be answered via addendum. Only those who have their name on the plan holders list will receive the addenda. An optional site visit and pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, May 29th, 2025 at 8:00 AM MST. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. For meeting invitations, email ahobson@jub.com. The object of the conference is to acquaint BIDDERs with the site conditions specifications, and to answer any questions which BIDDERs may have about the project. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. A five percent (5%) bid bond will be required. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality. Per C-200 Instructions for Bidders, Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to accept or reject the whole or any part of any bid; or to waive any information or technicality in any bid in the best interest of the City. Only bids giving a firm quotation properly signed will be accepted.
