Date: October 1, 2024 3:00 pm Location: Emery County Administration Building 75 E Main Street, Castle Dale, Utah Emery County Board of Commissioners: Keven Jensen - Chairman Jordan Leonard - Vice Chairman Lynn Sitterud - Commissioner -Pledge of Allegiance/ Invocation- (Note to the public: The consent agenda consists of item(s) that are considered to be routine in nature and will be enacted in the form of one motion. Any items can be removed from the consent agenda and heard in its regular order at the request of any commissioner.) CONSENT AGENDA Approval of check edits list, requisitions, and dispositions. Approval of September 17 2024, Commission Meeting Minutes. Approval to give Maegan Crosland a 3% wage increase for successful completion of her 6 month orientation period as the appointed Records Officer, effective 10-14-24. Approval to give Kelly Oldroyd a 3% wage increase for successful completion of her 6 month orientation period as the Custodian, effective 10-14-24. Approval of Leslie Thompson and Leslie Wilberg to continue as appointed part time Limited Duty employees working on motorized trials. When the county no longer receives grant funding, the position will no longer exist. Approval to appoint Shawna Horrocks, Guy Webster, Trent Jackson, Jack Funk, Jud Beagley and James Winn to the Emery County Emergency Medical Special Service District Board. Discussion Items Items pulled from the consent agenda. Recognition of Hoyt Horton, Mini Bull Riding World Champion. Ratification of Amended MOU for Emery County Library System's Participation in the UEN 2024 Wi-Fi for Libraries Program (FAIN CPFFN0178). Ratification of veteran tax abatement for Jeremia Rich and Circuit Breaker abatement for Lonnie Rich. Discuss/Approve/Deny application for abatement/commission adjustment for Marci Rogers. Discuss/Approve/Deny the Resolution of Appointment of the Emery County Representative and an Alternate Representative for the Utah Counties Indemnity Pool Annual Membership Meeting. Discuss/Approve/Deny advertising an RFP for update of the Emery County General Plan. Discuss/Approve/Deny Annual Wheeler Rental Agreement for a Backhoe Loader at the Emery County Road Department. Discuss/Approve/Deny participation in the Napoli Target Opioid Settlement Agreement. Discuss/Approve/Deny funding options for critical repairs at the Emery County Aquatic Center. Commission/Elected Officials Reports Adjourn. Any other business that may regularly come before The Board.
