Thank you. AGENDA 9:00 A.M. OPENING, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, APPROVE MINUTES, APPROVE WARRANTS, DEPARTMENTAL REPORTS, (Clerk, COA, Emergency Management, Fleet, Public Defender, Human Resource Commission) ETC. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT FROM: MAY 12, 2025 TO MAY 26, 2025 10:00 A.M. PUBLIC APPOINTMENTS 1. PUBLIC COMMENTS Three (3) Minute Time Limit per Speaker for Public Comment Participants. Should Not Repeat Others Comments. Only for Items Not on the Agenda. No Items Related to Commission's Role as an Appeal Board. Comments Should Be Directed to the Commission. No Attacks on Other Peoples' Character. 2. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE APPROVAL FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO START A YOUTH GOPHER ABATEMENT. Requested by Beckah Esplin, USU Extension and E&I Conservation District. 3. REVIEW, DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE APPROVAL OF REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN IRON COUNTY, CEDAR CITY, AND BZI INNOVATION PARK FOR SEWER UPSIZING. Presented by Sam Woodall and Rich Wilson. 4. PERSONNEL 1. SHERIFF - CORRECTIONS A. Request for approval of new-hire, Jaxon Dastrup as a F/T Corrections Deputy 1, backfill of a vacant position, effective May 25th, 2025. B. Request for approval of new-hire, Peter Merril as a F/T Corrections Deputy 1, backfill of a vacant position, effective May 25th, 2025. C. Request for approval of bilingual pay for Christopher Caro, Effective May 25, 2025. 2. WEEDS A. Request for approval of new-hire, Staheli Adams as a Seasonal Weed Sprayer, backfill of a vacant position, effective May 27th, 2025. NON-DELEGATED ITEMS 1. County Boards 2.
