- Highland City 5400 West Civic Center Drive ~ Suite 1 Highland, UT 84003 (801) 756-5751 www.highlandut.gov NOTICE OF HIGHLAND CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING The Highland City Council will hold a public hearing on May 6, 2025, at 6:00 pm, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Highland City Council Chambers, 5400 West Civic Center Dr, Highland, UT. The City Council will receive public comments concerning the following: - Amend the Transportation Element, Functional Classification System - The Collector and Local Street Systems, pages 3-42 to 3-43, to clarify that the City may approve alternative street standards if a street cannot be built to City standards due to significant obstacles and the street is necessary or beneficial to the city. - Amend the Transportation Element, Map 3-2 Recommended Transportation Network, to reclassify 11200 North from '2-Lane Residential Collector' to a local street. For more information or special accommodation to participate in the meeting, please contact the Highland City Recorder at (801) 772-4505 Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:00 pm. THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS.
