- NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING PLANNING COMMISSION Planning Commission May 22, 2025 @ 5:30 PM 2603 Santa Clara Drive Santa Clara, Utah 84765 Phone: (435) 673-6712 Email: contact@sccity.org Public Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Clara, Washington County, Utah, will hold a Planning Commission Meeting in the City Council Chambers, 2603 Santa Clara Drive, Santa Clara, Utah, on Thursday, May 22, 2025, commencing at 5:30 PM. The meeting will be broadcasted on our City website at https://santaclarautah.gov. The agenda for the meeting is as follows: 1. Call to Order 2. Opening Ceremony A. Pledge of Allegiance: David Clark 3. Conflicts and Disclosures 4. Working Agenda A. Public Hearing 1. Consider a proposed Code Amendment to Section 17.44.130, Temporary Signs, and Section 17.44.135, Political Signs of city code. This includes a new definition for a 'Political Sign', as well as a new section of city code including requirements for political sign placement and size in residential and non-residential zones. Santa Clara City, applicant. 2. Consider a proposed Code Amendment to Section 17.08, Definitions, and Section 17.64.060, Modifying Regulations of city code. This includes language updates to Accessory Structures, Carports, Awnings and Patio Covers, Swimming Pools, and Domestic Livestock and Fowl to be added to city code. Santa Clara City, applicant. 3. Consider a proposed Code Amendment to Section 17.08, Definitions, and Section 17.20.280, Non-Depository Institutions of city code. This includes new definitions for a 'Financial Institution' and for a 'Non-Depository Institution', as well as a new section of city code to be added to Supplementary and Qualifying Regulations. Santa Clara City, applicant. 5. General Business A. Recommendation to City Council 1. Recommendation to the City Council for a proposed Code Amendment to Section 17.44.130, Temporary Signs, and Section 17.44.135, Political Signs of city code. 2. Recommendation to the City Council for a proposed Code Amendment to Section 17.08, Definitions, and Section 17.64.060, Modifying Regulations of city code. 3. Recommendation to the City Council for a proposed Code Amendment to Section 17.08, Definitions, and Section 17.20.280, Non-Depository Institutions of city code. B. Planning Commission Approval 1.
