Public Comments/Questions for the Mayor & Council (limited to 3 minutes) 6:05 P.M. 2. Appointment of Police Chief. Discussion and possible action to authorize Mayor Call to make the appointment of the Police Chief. (Presenter: Mayor Call) 6:10 P.M. 3. Educational Conference Approval. Discussion and possible action to allow the City Administrator to attend the Utah APA Conference in Logan. 6:15 P.M. 4. Contract Approval. Discussion and possible consideration to approve the Pickleball Contract with EK Bailey in the amount of $687,712. (Presenter: Tyson Jackson) 6:25 P.M. 5. Award bids a. Discussion and possible action to award the Storm Water's 2025 Capital Improvements Project and Additive Alternate 2 bid to MJM Construction Inc. in the amount of $1,535,442.78. b. Discussion and possible action to award the Sewer Replacement along Hwy 89, Budget Lane to Pleasant View Drive Project bid to MJM Construction Inc. in the amount of $419,378. 6:45 P.M. 6. Agreement Approval. Discussion and possible consideration to approve Contract No. 25-LM-41-0760 License Agreement between the United States of America and Pleasant View City for the future 500 W water line crossing of the Ogden-Brigham Canal. (Presenter: Tyson Jackson) 6:55 P.M. 7. Award Bid. Discussion and possible consideration to award the Sewer Maintenance to J Solutions. (Presenter: Tyson Jackson) 7:05 P.M. 8. Other Business. 9. Closed Meeting. Consideration for a closed meeting pursuant to one or more of the provisions of the Utah Open and Public Meetings Law, Utah Code § 52-4-205(1). 10. Adjournment. Public Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Pleasant View, Utah will hold a Public Meeting in the city office at 520 West Elberta Dr. in Pleasant View, Utah on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, commencing at 6:00 PM. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing auxiliary services for these meetings should call the Pleasant View City Office at 801-782-8529, at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. The City Council at its discretion may change the order and times of the agenda items.
