- The Five County Association of Governments will hold a public hearing to discuss the projects determined to be applied for in the CDBG Small Cities Program Year 2025 for the CDBG Grant Administration and for the AOG Land Purchase. Comments will be solicited on project scope, implementation and its effects. The CDBG public hearing is being held in conjunction with the Finance Committee meeting of the Association of which the Steering Committee is the governing board. The Finance Meeting will being at 9:00 a.m MDT on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the Five County AOG building at 1070 W 1600 S, Bldg B, St. George, UT. The public hearing itself will begin shortly thereafter. Further information on the hearing can be obtained by contacting Mr. Cody Christensen, Associate Planner and CDBG Program Specialist, at 435-673-3548 ext. 165. You may also read more about the hearing and the CDBG program on the AOG website at www.fivecounty.utah.gov. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this hearing should notify Jen Wong, HR Director at 435-673-3548 ext. 127 at least three business days prior to the hearing. This notice was also published on the Utah Public Notice Website on May 5, 2025, posted at the AOG building, as well as in the Spectrum newspaper.
