- South Ogden City will hold municipal elections in 2025 for the following seats: Mayor- 4-year term City Council- 4-year term City Council- 4-year term All seats are at-large and non-partisan. Anyone interested in filing to run for any of the seats listed above, must file a Declaration of Candidacy in-person in the office of the city recorder from Monday, June 2 thru Friday, June 6 during regular office hours ( 8am-5pm). The city recorder's office is located at 3950 Adams Ave., South Ogden UT 84403, on the second floor. A 25 dollar filing fee will be assessed at the time of filing. The following requirements must be met in order to be eligible to file: - Be a United States Citizen - Be at least 18 years old by Election Day - Be a resident of South Ogden City for a period of 12 consecutive months prior to Election Day - Be a registered voter of South Ogden City; and - In accordance with the Utah Constitution Article IV, Section 6, any mentally incompetent person, any person convicted of a felony, or any person convicted of treason or a crime against the elective franchise may not hold office in this state until the right to hold elective office is restored under Section 20A-2-101.5
