- Cleveland Town Council Meeting May 8, 2025 at 7:00 pm 130 West Main, Cleveland, UT 84518 Call to Order: Opening Flag Ceremony Minutes: Approve April Council Minutes Public Comment: This section is Limited to 10 minutes Total. This time has been set aside for any person to express ideas, concern, comments, questions, or issues that are not on the agenda. Each person is limited to 3 minutes! *PLEASE STATE YOUR NAME AND PLACE OF RESIDENCE. *PLEASE LIMIT YOUR COMMENTS TO THREE MINUTES. State Law prohibits the council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda. In this form of government, all town administrative personnel are under the direction of the mayor, not the council. Please discuss any concerns you may have regarding administrative staff with the mayor. Action Agenda: 1. Approve/Deny donating money for the Emery High School graduation party. 2. Approve/Deny Cleveland Elementary to use Old Town Hall for summer school while they have their roof replaced, June to July. 3. Discuss/Approve/Deny spending Town's portion of County COVID money for roofing park pavilion, replacing broken playground equipment and buy shade sails, and fix rest rooms. 4. Discuss/Approve/Deny setting an annual COLA increase or give raise to part-time non-benefited employees. 5. Adopt tentative 2025-2026 budget for modifying and amending. Schedule public hearing to adopt final budget on June 12, 2025 at 7:00 pm. 6. Approve bills for payment and city financials. 7. Council Reports. 8. Adjourn Meeting. If there is any portion of the meeting that is closed to the public, the reason must clearly be stated and a roll call vote taken. The next regular Council Meeting will be held on June 12, 2025 at 7:00 pm at the Cleveland Town Office, 130 W. Main, Cleveland, unless otherwise noticed.
