- OFFICIAL NOTICE 2025 MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION In accordance with Utah Code Section 20A-5-101(2), I, Diana Baun, Town Clerk, give notice that the following offices will be voted on within the Town of Copperton in the 2025 General Election and the dates for filing a declaration of candidacy for those offices: 2025 OFFICES TO BE VOTED ON Copperton Mayor 4 year term Council Member Council At-Large C 1 seat 4 year term Council Member Council At-Large D 1 seat 4 year term DIANA BAUN Town Clerk CANDIDATE FILING PERIODS Traditional Candidates The Declaration of Candidacy filing period for qualified candidates begins on Monday, June 2, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025. Declarations of Candidacy must be made in person with Diana Baun, Town Clerk, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday June 2 through Friday June 6 at the Greater Salt Lake Municipal Services District Offices, located at 860 W. Levoy Dr., Suite 300, Taylorsville, UT 84123. A $50 Filing Fee will be collected during the declaration period. The general election will be held on November 4, 2025.
