- SALEM CITY 2025 MUNICIPAL ELECTION OPEN SEATS: (all seats are four-year terms) One (1): 4 Year Mayor Term Two (2): 4 Year City Council Term DECLARATION OF CANDIDACY SUBMISSION DEADLINE - JUNE 2- 6, 2025 between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 p.m. in the Salem City Recorder's Office (30 West 100 South). Interested candidates must be a U S citizen, at least 18 years old, a registered voter, and a resident of Salem City (or recently annexed into Salem City) for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the election. TRADITIONAL VOTING (VOTE BY MAIL) 2023 MUNICIPAL PRIMARY ELECTION DAY (if necessary) August 12, 2025 2023 MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION November 4, 2025 Please direct questions to Jeffrey Nielson, Salem City Recorder at jeffn@salemutah.gov or 801-423-2770 ext 202.
