- Notice is hereby given The Mayor and City Council of Helper City, A Municipal Corporation will hold a regular meeting on the 6th day of February 2025. At the Council Chambers 19 South Main, Helper, Utah. The meeting shall begin at 6:00 pm. Agenda 1- Call to order. 2- Pledge of Allegiance. 3- Roll call. 4- Public Comment. 5- Approval of the minutes from the January 2, 2025 meeting and January 8, 2025 special meeting. 6- Discussion and possible approval of a larger, flat headstone for a gravesite - Garnette Dalpiaz 7- Discussion and possible approval to place a plaque by the cross located at the old church near the Helper City cemetery - Brad Harmon 8- Discussion and possible approval of local consent for Shiva Investment LLC convenience store and gas station - Vishnu Patel. 9- Presentation by the Helper Project detailing a short history and their contributions to the community and updating information on The Helper Corridor Project. 10- Discussion and possible approval of spending $5749 to replace three pool drains with installation for the pool. 11-Discussion and possible approval of new Fire Contract with Carbon County. Reports only from Council Members and Department Heads. Possible closed session. Adjournment: The public is invited to submit questions or comments 24 hours before the meeting on agenda items only by calling (435) 472-5391 or emailing svasquez@helpercity.gov. I Shaley Vasquez Helper City Deputy Recorder, do hereby certify the above notice and agenda was posted on the 4th day of February 2025 at City Hall, helpercity.gov, and the Utah Public Notice Website. The agenda was provided to the media at least 24 hours before such a meeting.
