- Welcome, Introductions & Board Business: Quinn Sperry, Board Vice President o Approval of Minutes from January 16, 2025 - vote . Foundation Report - Denise Haycock, Development Officer o Scholarships - Scoring Rubric / Deadlines o Teacher of the Year . Gala Update - Greg Summerhays, Committee Chair . Messaging Matters Workshop - Marci Houseman, CEF Board and Chasing Impact As Canyons Education Foundation Board members, we are the ambassadors for the programs/projects/people we fund in Canyons School District. As ambassadors, it is important to carefully and intentionally plan our messaging so that what we say sticks and invites others to get caught up in our mission: to provide scholarships for students and innovation grants for educators. There is a lot we could say about who we are and why we do what we do. This workshop will help each of us tailor our message in a way that is meaningful, impactful and memorable. This workshop will be hands-on so come prepared to learn about the four principles of the Chasing Impact model and design a plan for putting those principles into practice as you reach out to potential sponsors for the Gala. Here are the four principles we will be discussing: . Impact First . Shine a Spotlight . Engage the Mind . Enlighten the Heart
