- PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers at 2380 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah, on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, commencing at 10:00 a.m. This meeting is also available by Zoom: link- Join Zoom Meeting https://us06web.zoom.us/j/85260293450?pwd=eGpvYjRKKzNSb0p5L1NXemlLdEwvZz09 Meeting ID: 852 6029 3450 Passcode: 503230 The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome- Commissioner Harvey B. Pledge of Allegiance- Ashlyn Tuckett C. Invocation- Jason Horne D. Thought of the Day- Commissioner Froerer E. Agenda Related Public Comments- (Comments will be taken for items listed on the agenda- please limit comments to 3 minutes)- F. Consent Items- 1. Request for approval of warrants #102939-102975, #486303-486382, and #381-382 in the amount of $2,603,189.87. 2. Request for approval of purchase orders in the amount of $264,123.73. 3. Summary of warrants and purchase orders. 4. Request for approval of minutes for the meeting held on August 27, 2024. 5. Request for approval of new business licenses. 6. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Gary Grant for the Utah Youth Rodeo Association to hold their annual banquet at the Golden Spike Event Center. 7. Request for approval of an easement for North Fork Park. G. Action Items- 1. Request for approval of final reading of an Ordinance of the County Commissioners of Weber County amending certain provisions of the purchasing code. Presenter: Lauren Thomas and Jason Horne 2. Request for approval of an agreement by and between Weber County and Novo Innovations, LLC. for painting the exterior of the Weber County Jail. Presenter: Bryce Taylor 3. Request for approval of an agreement by and between Weber County and Dominion Energy for installation of the service line and meter to the new Children's Justice Center building at 1845 Jackson Ave. Presenter: Rod Layton 4. Request for approval of a general service contract by and between Weber County and Rocky Mountain Power for electric service for the Children's Justice Center operation at or near 1845 Jackson Ave. Presenter: Rod Layton H.
