- Central Wasatch Commission Stakeholders Council Millcreek Canyon Committee Meeting Monday, March 17 2025; 1:30 P.M. 311 S. State St., Suite 330, SLC, UT 84111 Notice is hereby given that the Central Wasatch Commission Stakeholders Council Millcreek Canyon Committee will hold a meeting on Monday, March 17 2025, beginning at approximately 1:30 P.M. You may attend the meeting at the anchor location: the CWC offices located in the Brighton Bank building, 311 S. State Street Ste. 330, Salt Lake City, or virtually by registering at the below link. Please note that after registering, you will receive an email containing a meeting access link. https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZAvcO2oqjsvGd0IMRcwYqWhs0USidpnAaAd Please take notice that a quorum the Board of Commissioners (the 'Board') of the Central Wasatch Commission (the 'CWC') may attend the meeting of the Stakeholders Council Millcreek Canyon Committee scheduled for Monday, March 17 2025, beginning at 1:30 P.M. The agenda for that meeting of the Committee is accessible here: Utah Public Notice Website, the anchor location, The Salt Lake Tribune, and Deseret News. Civility and decorum should be applied in all discussions and debate. Difficult questions, tough challenges to a point of view, and criticism of ideas and information are legitimate elements of a free democracy in action. Public officials and the public are encouraged to refrain from making belligerent, personal, impertinent, slanderous, threatening, abusive, or disparaging comments. 1:30 P.M. Opening 1. Chair Maura Hahnenberger will open the public meeting as Chair of the Millcreek Canyon Committee of the Central Wasatch Commission Stakeholders Council. 2. Review and approval of minutes from the November 18, 2024 meeting. 1:35 P.M. Millcreek Canyon Impacts of Reduced Federal Staffing and Funding 1. The committee will discuss the impacts of reduced federal staffing and funding on Millcreek Canyon. 1:45 P.M. Millcreek Canyon Shuttle Grant 1. The committee will discuss short-term and long-term action items for implementation of a Millcreek Canyon Shuttle. 2:00 P.M. Identification of Private Parcels for Conservation 1. The committee will identify private land parcels for potential conservation efforts. 2:10 P.M. Environmental Dashboard Data 1. The committee will discuss the Environmental Dashboard and potential changes and data needs for Millcreek Canyon. 2:25 P.M. Other Items 2:25 P.M. Public Comment 2:30 P.M. Closing 1. Chair Hahnenberger will call for a motion to adjourn the Millcreek Canyon Committee meeting. ___________________________________________________________________ CERTIFICATE OF POSTING At or before 1:30 P.M. on March 14, 2025, the undersigned hereby certifies that the above notice and agenda was: 1. Posted on the Utah Public Notice Website created under UTAH CODE ANN. 63A-16-601; 2. Posted at the meeting's anchor location at 311 S. State St. Suite 330, Salt Lake City, UT; 3. Posted at the office of the governing body of each member entity of the CWC; and 4. Provided to the Salt Lake Tribune and/or Deseret News and to a local media correspondent. The audio recording and transcript of the meeting will be posted for public review. Commissioners will/may participate electronically. Meetings may be closed for reasons allowed by statute. Final action may be taken in relation to any topic listed on the agenda, including but not limited to adoption, rejection, amendment, addition of conditions and variations of options discussed.
