Syracuse, UT Notice is hereby given that the Syracuse City Disaster Preparedness Committee will participate in a meeting on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 7:00 pm in Syracuse Emergency Operations Center, 1751 S, 2000 W. Syracuse City, Davis County, Utah. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss/review the following items: Welcome: Dennis Opp Call to Order: Dennis Opp Prayer: TBA Pledge of Allegiance Review Meeting Minutes: Scott Bohn Welcome Guests/Visitors: Syracuse Social Media articles: 1. TBD February 2025 Committee Business: 1) DPC positions appointments & assignments for 2025. 2) Invite area emergency preparedness leaders to February 2025 meeting. 3) Make assignments for Monthly social media flyer 4) Syracuse City Emergency Preparedness & Disaster Exercise (April 26, 2025) a. RDAP Run District Routes count buildings and participation (boots on porches) b. Invite District and Area Reps to the January Meeting c. Define Metrick - Chris Larsen d. Flyer: Everbridge and Preparedness resources 5) Call for additional 2025 exercise ideas and planning (email to syracuse.ercnet@gmail.com) 6) Ham Radio Technician Course: March 2025 7) Syracuse City Code Enforcement: Snow Removal/weed/yard care a.
