- NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING SCHEDULE OF THE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the regular meeting schedule of the Board of Equalization (the 'Board') of Salt Lake County (the 'County') for calendar year 2025 is as follows: Regular meetings shall be held on selected Tuesdays before the meeting of the County Council at 2001 South State Street, N2-800, Salt Lake City, Utah. Regular meetings may be cancelled. Public notice of each meeting shall be given in accordance with state law. The Board may also call and hold meetings as needed on different days and times, including emergency meetings because of unforeseen circumstances to consider matters of an urgent nature, as permitted under Utah Code § 52-4-202 of the Open and Public Meetings Act (the 'Open Meetings Act'). Meetings may be held electronically pursuant to Utah Code § 52-4-207 of the Open Meetings Act. All meetings of the Board are open to the public, but closed meetings may be held by the Board from time to time if the meeting is called in the manner required by Section 52-4-204 and held for any of the limited purposes specified in Section 52-4-205 of the Open Meetings Act. Under Section 52-4-202 of the Open Meetings Act, the Board shall give no less than 24 hours public notice of the agenda, date, time and place of each of its regular meetings by posting a meeting agenda attached, on the Board's website, the County's official website, and on the Utah Public Notice Website. Notice of electronic meetings will follow Utah Code § 52-4-207 of the Open Meetings Act.
