- The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting December 10th, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, Utah. Welcome --Mayor 1. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation Pledge of Allegiance - Opening Prayer- Patriotic Message - 2. Roll Call - Recorder 3. Approval of Claims and Requisitions - Mayor Claims Register: Dated 11/23/2024 to 12/06/2024 in the amount of $321,089.84 Requisition #120620241019 Initial Approval Power Department Metering System TWACS to WESCO in the amount of $810,199.00. Other Requisitions as needed. 4. Approval of Transaction Register: Dated 11/01/2024 to 11/30/2024 in the amount of $1836.72 5. Approval of Minutes - Mayor November 26th, 2024, 5:30 pm Work Session Meeting November 26th, 2024, 6:30 pm Regular City Council Meeting 6. Fraud Risk Assessment/Audit Review - Larson & Company Certified Public Accountants. 7. Approval of pending Mt. Pleasant City Resolution 2024-16 A RESOLUTION EXTENDING RESOLUTION 2024-5, ENACTING PENDING ORDINANCE RULE ON OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS WATER CONNECTIONS. 8. Discussion on current playground equipment at City Park- Paul Madsen 9. Public Participation Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door right before the meeting begins. Participation is limited to three minutes. The participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda.
