- IRON COUNTY, UTAH IRON COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION & COUNTY COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE General Plan Tier and Zoning Consideration The Iron County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing and consider action (recommendation) during their regularly scheduled meeting, on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Festival Hall located at 105 North 100 East, Cedar City, Utah. The County Commission will hold a public hearing and consider action at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Iron County Courthouse located at 68 S 100 E, Parowan, Utah. The hearings are to receive public comment on a proposed General Plan Tier Change (Tier II to Tier IV & Tier IV to Tier II) and Zoning Map Amendment (Around Paragonah: 'A-20, R-1, R-1/2 to R-5; A-20 to RA-20' and Around Parowan 'R-1/2, A-20, C & LI to R-5; R-1/2, R-5 & A-20 to RA-20' for properties currently in and around the Paragonah and Parowan Tier II Urban Expansion Areas. Applicant: Iron County All interested persons are invited to attend.
