- WALES TOWN COUNCIL Notice and Agenda Notice is hereby given that the Wales Town Council will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the Wales Town Hall, which meeting shall begin promptly at 7:00 PM. Agenda items may or may not be discussed in the order they are listed. The agenda shall be as follows: Meeting call to order Rollcall Pledge of Allegiance-lead by Mayor Davis Prayer/Inspirational Thought Approval of minutes of regular council meeting held on August 6, 2024. Approval for payment of August 2024 invoices Business & Petitions (including items to be voted upon) 1. Zoom call with Utah State Floodplain Management: Tracie Harrison, Mckinzey Goodenough 2. CIB grant meeting Sept. 5, 2024-review presentation 3. Water rate increase complaints 4. Marie Christensen-water overage 5. 2024 Elections: County needs volunteers for: Oct.21-24 anytime between 8am-6pm Oct.28-31 anytime between 8am-6pm Nov.4 anytime between 8am-6pm Nov.5 (election day) anytime between 7am-11pm Nov.6-7 anytime between 8am-6pm 6. Suggestion to form more town Committees 7. Suggestion to renumber older ordinances, resolutions and policies to match today's numbering system Reports of town officers and committees Mayor Byron Davis Council member Brandon Rees: Water- Wendle Roberts EMTs- Council member David Larsen: Streets-4-way stop at 100S 200E (church/canyon intersection) Council member James Roberts: Parks/Rec- Planning & Zoning- Council member Hayden Nicholes Cemetery Emergency Prep. Fire Dept.--Shawn Robison-help with flooding in Ft. Green Administration--Kevin Washburn, Erika Anderson Adjourn: Mayor: Byron L. Davis I, Kevin E.
