- WALES TOWN COUNCIL Notice and Agenda Notice is hereby given that the Wales Town Council will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at the Wales Town Hall, which meeting shall begin promptly at 7:00 PM. Agenda items may or may not be discussed in the order they are listed. The agenda shall be as follows: Meeting call to order Rollcall Pledge of Allegiance Prayer/Inspirational Thought Approval of minutes of regular council meeting held on September 3, 2024. Approval for payment of September 2024 invoices Business & Petitions (including items to be voted upon) 1. Appoint Austin Sheperd to Planning & Zoning committee 2. Library discussion-Mikyn Galpin 3. Purchase a gasoline powered water/trash pump 4. Put sander and old fire truck toolboxes on snowplow truck 5. CIB funding for water line loop/boost pump sta. project-final meeting Oct. 3, 2024 Reports of town officers and boards Mayor Byron Davis: Nov.1, 2024-visit by Burgess Owens' staff Council member Brandon Rees Water--Report on water main damage-200N State Locate and mark all water main line shutoff valves Council member David Larsen Streets-speed warning signs on state street Council member Hayden Nicholes Cemetery-winterize hydrants Fire Dept.-lid for septic tank; clean up trash, weeds Em.
