- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Box Elder County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday December 19, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible in the Box Elder County Commission Chambers (Historic Courthouse, 01 South Main Street, Brigham City, Utah) to receive input on the following proposed petition(s): PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT, Z24-018, Request for a zone change of 95 acres from Unzoned to MG-EX (Mining, Quarry, Sand, & Gravel Excavation) located at approximately Promontory Point Peninsula of unincorporated Box Elder County. 2. ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT, Z24-019, Request for a text amendment to Section 5-1-360 Annexation Policy in the Box Elder County Land Use Management & Development Code. Proposal for exemptions to the policy. 3. ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT, Z24-020, Request for a text amendment to Section 5-1-360, Annexation Policy in the Box Elder County Land Use Management & Development Code. Proposal to limit where policy applies. 4. AG SUBDIVISIONS Request Any interested parties should plan to attend. Copies of these petitions may be reviewed prior to the public hearing in the Box Elder County Community Development office, Room 34 in the Box Elder County Historic Courthouse.
