- La Verkin City Council Meeting Agenda Wednesday, November 6, 2024, 6:00 p.m. City Council Chambers, 111 S. Main, La Verkin, Utah 5:00 Work Meeting: 1. Legislators. 2. Development Agreement with American First Credit Union. A. Meeting Called to Order: Invocation by Invitation; Pledge of Allegiance B. Presentation: 1. Introduction of La Verkin City Royalty C. Consent Agenda: (Items on the consent agenda may not require discussion. These items will be a single motion unless removed at the request of the Mayor or City Council.) 1. Declarations of conflict of interest 2. Agenda 3. Meeting Minutes: October 16, 2024, regular meeting 4. Checks and Invoices: $ 88,415.31 D. Business: 1. Discussion and possible action to approve the Development Agreement with America First Credit Union for approximately 490 acres of land located near the Eastern edge of LaVerkin City's current municipal boundaries. 2. Discussion regarding the Capital improvement list. E. Mayor & Council Reports: Mayor Wilson: Blair Gubler: Washington County Solid Waste, Homeland Security/CERT Wise: Planning Commission/Zoning, Beautification/Trails Committee, Economic Development/Tourism Micah Gubler: Public Safety, Recreation/City Festivals Hirschi: Fire District, Ash Creek Special Service District, DTEC Prince: Southwest Mosquito Abatement, Historical Preservation F. Citizen Comment & Request for Future Agenda Items: No action may be taken on a matter raised under this agenda item. This item is reserved for the citizens of La Verkin who have items not listed on this agenda. The time limit is 20 minutes; each individual can take no more than 3 minutes. G.
