- IVINS CITY COUNCIL MEETING *AMENDED AGENDA October 17, 2024 Mayor Chris Hart City Council Members Lance Anderson Sharon Barton Sharon Gillespie Mike Scott Kevin Smith City Manager Dale Coulam The Ivins City Council will hold a regular meeting in the City Council Chambers, 85 N. Main St., Ivins, UT, on Thursday, October 17, 2024. The meeting will begin at 5:30 P.M. NOTICE: This meeting will be held in person and electronically. You may watch the live audio and video feed by going to www.ivinsutah.gov under 'Upcoming Events'. When the meeting is live, it will reflect 'In Progress' - click on the 'In Progress' link to watch the meeting live. The Mayor and/or City Council Members may attend electronically if they are unable to attend in person. The anchor location will be the Ivins City Council chambers located at 85 North Main Street, Ivins City, Utah 84738. Note: The order of items discussed on this agenda is subject to change 1) WELCOME AND CALL TO ORDER A. Acknowledgement of Quorum B. Flag Salute C. Invocation D. Disclosures 2) REPORTS, PRESENTATIONS AND APPOINTMENTS A. Ivins Acknowledgement of Featured Student Artist Nevaeh Thompson B. Department Reports: Building Department; Public Works/Engineering; Finance/ Quarterly Report C. Planning Commission Report 3) CITIZEN COMMENT & REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS Any person wishing to bring an item not otherwise on the Agenda to the attention of the Mayor and City Council may address the City Council at this point by stepping to the microphone and giving his or her name and address for the record. Speaker forms should be filled out in advance and given to the City Recorder. Remarks should be limited to no more than two minutes, unless the Governing Body allocates additional time. Discuss and consider approval of a Proclamation regarding the 2024-2025 School Year as an Alcohol-Free School Year for Youth B. *Discuss and consider approval of Resolution No. 2024-17R, a Resolution of Ivins City, Utah, re-appointing Chris Blake to the Sensitive Lands Committee C. *Discuss and consider approval of Resolution No. 2024-18R, a Resolution of Ivins City, Utah, re-appointing David R. Black to the Sensitive Lands Committee D. *Discuss and consider approval of Resolution No. 2024-19R, a Resolution of Ivins City, Utah, approving employee core benefits E. *Discuss and consider approval of expenditure and Federal Aid Agreement for Shared Use Path Network Gap Fill Project Phase 2 F. Discuss and consider approval of landscape install and plan in the roundabout on Highway 91 and Kwavasa G. Discuss and consider bid award for the Old Highway 91 Phase 2 project H. Continued discussion regarding proposed amendments to the Ivins City General Plan I. Discussion of valuable take-aways from the Utah League of Cities and Towns convention 6) CONSENT AGENDA A.
