- NOTICE OF A SOP WORK MEETING WITH CORN CREEK IRRIGATION COMPANY: Kanosh Town Hall 55 North Main, Kanosh Utah TUESDAY, October 8, 2024 6:00 pm NOTICE OF TRAINING: Kanosh Town Hall 55 North Main, Kanosh Utah WEDNESDAY, October 9, 2024 6:00 pm NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Kanosh Town Hall 55 North Main, Kanosh Utah WEDNESDAY, October 9, 2024 7:00 pm Purpose: The public hearing is held to receive input with respect to the issuance of such Bonds and any potential impact to the private sector from the construction of the Project KANOSH TOWN CORPORATION NOTICE AND AGENDA - Notice is hereby given that the Kanosh Town Council will hold its regular Kanosh Town Council meeting 7:00 p.m. (immediately following the public hearing) Wednesday, October 9, 2024 - Kanosh Town Hall is located at 55 North Main Street, Kanosh, Utah. WELCOME AND CALL TO ORDER OF REGULAR KANOSH TOWN PUBLIC MEETING Mayor Scott McDonald a. Invocation -Audience invited to participate. b. Pledge of Allegiance c. Approval of minutes from the previous meeting d. Approval of payment of Warrants for the current meeting e. CERT: Geri Minton f. Fire Department: Lorin Shumway Fire Chief g. Planning and Zoning: *Building Permits REVIEW, DISCUSSION, AND ACTION ON .... Review and discuss the Proposed Annexation Ordinance Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members Update on Impact Fees Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members UAMPS recommendation for participation in two future new natural gas power generation projects starting in 2029: McCornick Peaker and the American Falls base load-Combined Cycle project. Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members Review electrical rates and potentially reset surcharge based on the review Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members FEMA Flood Map Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members COUNCIL REPORT ON DEPARTMENTS: i.e. park, cemetery, electrical, roads, & water Utility Delinquency Review: PUBLIC COMMENTS (Three Minute Limitation Each) FOLLOW UP ON OLD BUSINESS Well Project Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members Corn Creek Project Update Action: Discussion/approval as directed by Council members CLOSED SESSION (if necessary) to DISCUSS one or more of the following: the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; collective bargaining pending or reasonably imminent litigation, the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property, the sale of real property, including any form of water rights or water shares, deployment of security personnel, devices or systems investigative proceedings regarding allegations of misconduct.
