- NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE Iron County General Fund The Iron County General Fund is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The Iron County General Fund tax on a $418,000 residence would increase from $182.54 to $218.14, which is $35.60 per year. - The Iron County General Fund tax on a $418,000 business would increase from $331.89 to $396.61, which is $64.72 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, Iron County General Fund would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 19.50% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase. PUBLIC HEARING: 11/8/2024 6:00 PM Location: Festival Hall Room #7 To obtain more information regarding the tax increase, citizens may contact Iron County General Fund at 435-477-8349.
