- HUNTSVILLE TOWN COUNCIL MEETING AND WORK SESSION Thursday, November 7, 2024, Huntsville Town Maintenance Bldg. 165 South 7500 East, 5:00 p.m. And 6:30 p.m. Notice is hereby given that the Huntsville Town Council will hold a Town Council Meeting and Work Session on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the Huntsville Town Maintenance Bldg. 165 South 7500 East. This is a public meeting, and the public is welcome to attend. WORK SESSION 5PM: The purpose of this work session is to discuss the 4th of July feedback from Huntsville's 2024 celebration. REGULAR SESSION 6:30 PM: Welcome - Mayor Pro Tem. Sandy Hunter Pledge of Allegiance - by invitation Opening Ceremony - Artie Powell Public Comments: Residents will be allotted three (3) minutes. Sheriff's Report Presentation by Mike Tovar 'Sarge' on activities at the American Legion Presentation by Blaine Vernon on maintenance updates in Huntsville Town ACTION ITEMS: Discussion and/or action on approval of Town Funds to repair the Hansen driveway. Discussion and/or action on support for increase in Weber County Sheriff's Wages. Discussion and/or action on approval of Weber County Sheriff Contract. Discussion and/or action on Ordinance 2024-11-7-A - Municipal Energy Sale and Use Tax. Discussion and/or action on Ordinance 2024-11-7-B - Town .20% Option Sale and Use Tax. Discussion and/or action on Ordinance 2024-11-7-C - Town 1% Option Sale and Use Tax. Discussion on fees in draft of General Revenue - Title 4 Discussion and/or action on adding another signer on the Zion's Bank account.
