- HUNTSVILLE TOWN COUNCIL MEETING Thursday, September 19, 2024, Huntsville Town Maintenance Bldg. 165 South 7500 East, 6:00 p.m. Notice is hereby given that the Huntsville Town Council will hold a Town Council Meeting on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the Huntsville Town Maintenance Bldg. 165 South 7500 East. This is a public meeting, and the public is welcome to attend. REGULAR SESSION: Welcome - Mayor Richard L. Sorensen Pledge of Allegiance - by invitation Opening Ceremony - Artie Powell Public Comments: Residents will be allotted three (3) minutes. Sheriff's Report Presentation by Aydree Bingham, Genevieve Evans, and Gregory Evans, regarding ATV usage on Town streets ACTION ITEMS: Discussion and/or action on Overview of Sheriff Arbon's briefing about his visits to the southern border and its effect on local communities Discussion and/or action on culinary water system updates. Discussion and/or action on approval of Resolution 2024-08-15 Sex-Based Privacy Compliance Plan Discussion and/or action on approval of Minutes for Town Council Meeting September 5, 2024 DEPARTMENT UPDATES: Mayor Richard Sorensen Councilmember Lewis Johnson Councilmember Bruce Ahlstrom Councilmember Sandy Hunter Councilmember Artie Powell Adjourn ___________________________ DATE:_______________ Town Clerk/Recorder CERTIFICATE OF PASSAGE AND PUBLICATION OR POSTING According to the provision of U.C.A. ยง10-3-713, 1953 as amended, I, the municipal clerk recorder of Huntsville Town, hereby certify that foregoing agenda was duly published, or posted at 1) Town Hall 2) Huntsville Post Office 3) www.huntsvilleutah.gov 4) www.pmn.utah.gov A Closed Session may be called if needed pursuant to State Code 52-4-205. Reasons include A. Discussion of the purchase, exchange, lease, or sale of real property, when public discussion would disclose the value of the property or prevent the authority from completing the transaction on the best possible terms. B. Strategy session to discuss the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual. C. Strategy session to discuss collective bargaining. D. Strategy session regarding pending, or imminent litigation. E. Strategy session to discuss the deployment of security personnel, devices, or systems. F. Discussion of investigative proceedings regarding allegations of criminal misconduct. This meeting may be held electronically to permit one or more of the council members or staff to participate.
