- The Utah Board of Oil, Gas and Mining meets on Wednesday, September 25, at 8 a.m. The meeting will be conducted electronically, with an anchor location at the Uintah Conference Center in the Ashley Board Room, 313 East 200 South in Vernal. It will be streamed live on the Department of Natural Resources YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/live/tahWnk9zYeY. Division of Oil, Gas and Mining staff will conduct a briefing session at 8 a.m.: 1. Proposed Board Hearing Schedule for 2025 2. Other 3. Next Month's Agenda and Division Calendar 4. Opportunity for Public Comment Board members will hear the following matters after the briefing session: 1. Docket No. 2024-047Cause No. 132-49 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action ofOVINTIV USA INC. for an order pooling interests, including the compulsory pooling of the interests of certain non-consenting owners in the nine (9) Stanley series of wells in the drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-WasatchFormations comprised of all of Sections 13 and 14, Township 3 South, Range 4West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah. (The Board will consider the recommended findings of fact and conclusions of law generated by the HearingExaminer from the September 18, 2024 proceeding.) 2. Docket No. 2024-048Cause No. 132-50 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of OVINTIV USA INC. for an order pooling interests, including the compulsory pooling of the interests of certain non-consenting owners in the Evelyn 4-43-1-4-9-7H Well, in the drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch Formations comprised of all of Sections 4 and 9, Township 3 South, Range 1 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah. (The Board will consider the recommended findings of fact and conclusions of law generated by the Hearing Examiner from the September 18, 2024 proceeding.) 3. Docket No. 2024-051Cause No. 132-53 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action ofOVINTIV USA INC. for an order pooling interests, including the compulsory pooling of the interests of certain non-consenting owners in the Sandra UT 16-74-2-17-29-7HX Well, in the drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch Formationscomprised of all of Sections 17, 20 and 29, Township 4 South, Range 2 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah. (The Board will consider the recommended findings of fact and conclusions of law generated by the Hearing Examiner from the proceeding on September 18, 2024.) 4. Docket No. 2024-052Cause No. 132-54 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action ofOVINTIV USA INC. for an order pooling interests, including the compulsory pooling of the interests of certain non-consenting owners in the Fitzgerald UT9-35 4-2-2-11-1H Well in the drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch Formations comprised of all of Sections 2 and 11 Township 4 South, Range 2 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah. (The Board will consider the recommended findings of fact and conclusions of law generated by the Hearing Examiner from the September 18, 2024 proceeding.) 5. Docket No. 2024-049Cause No. 132-51 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action ofXCL RESOURCES, LLC on behalf of XCL ASSETCO, LLC for an order pooling all interests, including the compulsory pooling of the interests of certain non-consenting and unknown owners, within a 1,280-acre (or substantial equivalent) drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch (Colton) Formations, comprised of Sections 28 and 33, Township 2 South, Range 2 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah. (The Board will consider the recommended findings of fact and conclusions of law generated by the Hearing Examiner from the September 18, 2024 proceeding.) 6. Docket No. 2024-050Cause No. 132-52 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action ofXCL RESOURCES, LLC on behalf of XCL ASSETCO, LLC, for an order pooling all interests, including the compulsory pooling of the interests of certain non-consenting and unknown owners, within a 2,560-acre (or substantial equivalent) drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch (Colton) Formations, comprised of Sections 27, 28, 33 and 34, Township 2 South, Range 2 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah. (The Board will consider the recommended findings of fact and conclusions of law generated by the Hearing Examiner from the September 18, 2024 proceeding.) 7. Docket No. 2024-053Cause No. 130-35 - In the Matter of the Request for Agency Action of BERRY PETROLEUM COMPANY, LLC for an order: (I) partially vacating and amending the Board's order in Docket No. 2012-020, Cause No. 139-92 and (II)establishing an approximate 1,920-acre 'lay-down' overlapping drilling unit, for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower GreenRiver and Green River-Wasatch Formations, comprised of Sections 32-34, Township 4 South, Range 5 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah.
