- NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE The HURRICANE VALLEY FIRE DISTRICT is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The HURRICANE VALLEY FIRE DISTRICT tax on a $467,000 residence would increase from $179.54 to $272.97, which is $93.43 per year. - The HURRICANE VALLEY FIRE DISTRICT tax on a $467,000 business would increase from $326.43 to $496.30, which is $169.87 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, HURRICANE VALLEY FIRE DISTRICT would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 52.04% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase. PUBLIC HEARING 10/7/2024 6:00 P.M.
