- The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting August 27th, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, Utah. Welcome --Mayor 1. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation Pledge of Allegiance Opening Prayer 2. Roll Call - Recorder 3. Approval of Claims and Requisitions - Mayor Invoice Register: Dated 08/08/2024 to 08/23/2024 in the amount of $1,070,618.78 Requisitions: As Needed 4. Approval of Minutes - Mayor August 13th, 2024, Regular City Council Meeting 5. Draft Ordinance #2024-02 An Ordinance of the City of Mt. Pleasant Establishing Residential Landscaping Requirements to Promote Water -Efficient Landscaping Practices 6. Planning & Zoning Commission: a. Recommendation from Planning Commission of addition of 'Sauna' to Mount Pleasant City's list of allowable uses in the Commercial Manufacturing Zone. b. Discussion/Proposition on affordable housing by developer Bruce Dickenson. 7. Discussion/Action on the following items: a. Water Tank - Sunrise Engineering b. Laydown Machine Approval - Colter Allen c. Out of State Travel for FBI College- Chief Steve Gray 8. Public Participation Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door right before the meeting begins. Participation is limited to three minutes. The participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda.
