- HUNTSVILLE TOWN COUNCIL MEETING Wednesday, July 10, 2024, Huntsville Town Maintenance Bldg. 165 South 7500 East, 6:00 p.m. Notice is hereby given that the Huntsville Town Council will hold a Town Council Meeting on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the Huntsville Town Maintenance Bldg. 165 South 7500 East. This is a public meeting, and the public is welcome to attend. REGULAR SESSION: Welcome - Mayor Richard L. Sorensen Pledge of Allegiance - by invitation Opening Ceremony - Artie Powell Public Comments: Residents will be allotted three (3) minutes. Sheriff's Report ACTION ITEMS: Discussion and/or action on approval of Business License- Sandbox Construction and Development LLC Discussion and/or action on approval of Business License- Valley House Inn Discussion and/or action on approval of the purchase of a mini hoe from Huntsville Town Secondary Water Co. Reasons include A. Discussion of the purchase, exchange, lease, or sale of real property, when public discussion would disclose the value of the property or prevent the authority from completing the transaction on the best possible terms. B. Strategy session to discuss the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual. C. Strategy session to discuss collective bargaining. D. Strategy session regarding pending, or imminent litigation. E. Strategy session to discuss the deployment of security personnel, devices, or systems. F. Discussion of investigative proceedings regarding allegations of criminal misconduct. This meeting may be held electronically to permit one or more of the council members or staff to participate.
