- 1. Call to Order a. Eagle Scouts Spencer Allred and Carson Strong i. Pledge of Allegiance ii. Report iii. Recognition b. Prayer and/or Inspirational Message Any Midway resident interested in giving a prayer and/or an inspirational message may contact the City Recorder at bwilson@midwaycityut.org or 435-654-3223 x118. 2. Consent Agenda Be it hereby moved that the following consent agenda items stand approved: a. Agenda for the 18 June 2024 City Council Regular Meeting b. Warrants c. Minutes of the 13 May 2024 City Council Meeting d. Minutes of the 4 June 2024 City Council Work Meeting e. Minutes of the 4 June 2024 City Council Regular Meeting f. Resolution 2024-16 adopting a certified property tax rate for Midway City 3. Public Comment (At the discretion of the Mayor) All public comment shall: 1) only be made by those physically present at the City Council meeting and only after the person states his or her name and address for the record; 2) may last no longer than 1 minute unless otherwise allowed by the Mayor; 3) must be germane to the authority of the City Council and be directly related to city programs, projects, services or events; and 4) may not address an item already on the agenda. 4. Department Reports (Approximately 30 minutes) a. Ice Rink, Midway Boosters, and Swiss Days Committee b. Affordable Housing, Heber Light & Power Company Board, and Open Space Advisory Committee c. Heber Valley Railroad Board, Heber Valley Special Service District Board, Midway Sanitation District Board, and Wasatch County Caring Coalition d. Concert in the Park 5. Resolution 2024-17 / FY 2024 Budget Amendment (Budget Officer - Approximately 30 minutes) - Discuss and possibly deny, continue, or approve Resolution 2024-17 amending the fiscal year 2024 budget for Midway City. Public Hearing 6. Lundin and Heart of Midway Properties / RCPP Commitment Letter (Wendy Fisher - Approximately 20 minutes) - Discuss and possibly deny, continue, or approve a Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) commitment letter for the Lundin property located at 900 West Bigler Lane and the Heart of Midway properties located at 351 North Center Street. 7. Additional Law Enforcement (Council Member Simonsen - Approximately 60 minutes) - Discuss adopting an agreement for additional law enforcement in Midway City. 8. Resolution 2024-18 / FY 2025 Budget (Budget Officer - Approximately 15 minutes) - Discuss and possibly deny, continue, or approve Resolution 2024-18 adopting the fiscal year 2025 budget for Midway City. 9. Closed Meeting to Discuss the Purchase, Exchange, or Lease of Real Property 10. Adjournment
