Maughan Blue Ribbon Comments: Consent Items: Minutes-March 28, 2024 Warrants-3/28/24, 4/11/24, 4/18/24, 4/25/24 Previous Commitments to Action: Add the increase in the driver's education instructor stipend for the FY '25 year to the May meeting for approval. Discussion Items: Budget URSA Board Legislative Representative 24/25 SESC Board Chairperson (current rotation Grand) 2024 Rural Schools Conference-Teacher of Year, San Juan SD Technology Integration Specialist Salaries-JoLynn Torgerson & Nathan Wilson ESA Total disbursement per eligible educator for FY 2025 is $10,839.25 ($8,400 to educator and $2,439.25 for benefits). (SB 52) Statewide AI RFP Heron School, Moab, Utah inclusion in the SESC Region - Handout Summer Hours at SESC - 4-10 hour days Utah School Safety Conference attendance for Jeremiah Business/Action Items: Budget Approval FY '25 Adopted FY '24 Amended FY '25 Board Meeting Dates - Handout Driver's Education Instructor Stipend from $60 to $75 per completed student 24/25 Spelling Bee Participation - $4,000 if agreement is signed by July 15, 2024, $5,000 after-fee includes the hotel expenses for the region winner. Heron School Inclusion for SESC Region Information Items: 24/25 LETRS Training Dates-Volume 2 Units 5-8 @ Moab, Utah September 26, 2024 November 6, 2024 January 30, 2025 March 27, 2025 Commitments to Action: Next Meeting Date: September 19, 2024 per approval @ San Juan SD
