BOX 138 - 161 E 300 N HINCKLEY, UTAH 84635 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THE MAYOR & COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF HINCKLEY, UTAH WILL HOLD THEIR REGULAR TOWN COUNCIL MEETING ON THURSDAY, JUNE 6, 2024, AT 7:00 PM IN THE TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS AT 161 E. 300 N. HINCKLEY, UT THE AGENDA ORDER MAY BE AS FOLLOWS: INVOCATION I. PLEDGE II. ROLL CALL III. GUESTS IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING V. PETITIONS, REMONSTRANCES, AND COMMUNICATION VI. REPORT OF GOVERNING BODY - BOARDS - COMMITTEES: BRIAN FLORANG, DONALD BROWN, CHRIS MORK, SKIP TAYLOR VII. STAFF REPORTING VIII. NEW BUSINESS 1. Oath of Office - Ray Searle appointed to fill a mid-term Council Seat Vacancy. 2. Adopt a resolution for an increase in water rates. 3. Adopt a resolution adopting Hinckley Town's FY 2025 Tentative Budget, providing for public inspection of Tentative Budget, establishing the time and place of public hearing to consider adoption of budget and providing for publication of notice of public hearing. 4. Review and discuss the General Plan Update recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission. 5. Discussion regarding change in Hinckley Town CPA for annual audits. IX. OUTSTANDING BUSINESS 1. Park Pavilion 2. Rural Communities Opportunity Grant - Hinckley Industrial Park Rehabilitation project updates: Roads - Donald Brown; Water and Sewer - Chris Mork; Economic Development - Skip Taylor; Signage- Ray Searle 3. Water and Sewer Master Plans 4. Maintenance Position Opening 5. Hinckley Celebration Planning 6. Mini Split Install, Restroom & Breakroom Update X. MISCELLANEOUS DISCUSSION XI. PAYMENT OF BILLS XII. ADJOURNMENT THE TOWN COUNCIL MAY VOTE TO GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services during this meeting should call the Hinckley Town Office at 435-864-3522 giving at least 24 hours advance notice. CERTIFICATE OF MAILING: The undersigned duly appointed clerk for the Municipality of Hinckley Town, hereby certifies that a copy of the foregoing agenda was posted to the Utah Public Notice Website, emailed to the Millard County Chronicle Progress newspaper in Delta, Utah and emailed to each member of the Governing Body, as well as being posted at the Hinckley Post Office, Hinckley Town Office, and advertisement board at 12 E. 500 N., Hinckley, Utah, on or before the 5th day of June 2024.
