The Mayor reserves the right to modify the sequence of agenda items in order to facilitate special needs. 1.PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 2.ROLL CALL 3.SAFETY SECONDS Councilmember Willis 4.PUBLIC COMMENTS 5.GENERAL BUSINESS/DISCUSSION a. PRICE CITY MAYOR'S WALK. Sara Braby, Director of Nursing, Clinical and Family Services with Southeast Utah Health Department, will be in attendance to give information regarding the Price City Mayor's Walk that will take place July 27, 2024 at 7:30 a.m. It will begin at Price City Hall with light yoga and then the walking route Mayor Kourianos has chosen. b. H.O.P.E. THROUGH THE ARTS. Elizabeth Nelson, Price City Youth Council will be in attendance to inform the Mayor and City Council about a community event that the Price City Youth Council will be hosting June 19, 2024 at Price City Hall. The event is with Miss Utah Teen Kira Gardner, H.O.P.E. Through the Arts, aiming to spread awareness about the benefits of the arts and provide free, accessible art opportunities to the community. Consideration and possible approval to Price City Youth Council, who is requesting a fee waiver for the use of a conference room for two classes on June 19, 2024 for the event. c. RESOLUTION NO. 2024-013 Consideration and possible approval of a Resolution Updating and Establishing Price Municipal Corporation Job Descriptions for the Positions Of: Library Coordinator II, Library Coordinator III, Library Coordinator IV, Library Aide II, Library Aide III, Library Aide IV. d. RESOLUTION NO. 2024-014 Consideration and possible approval of a Resolution Adopting the Updated Employee Promotion Career Ladder Matrix for the Library Coordinator and Library Aide Career Track. e. RESOLUTION NO. 2024-015. Consideration and possible approval of a Resolution Providing for a Referendum to be Held on November 5th, 2024 for the Purpose of Submitting to the Qualified Electors of Price City, Carbon County, Utah, the Question of the Continuation of One-Tenth of One Percent (0.10%) Sales and Use Tax, or Botanical, Recreation, Cultural and Zoological Tax to Finance Improvements and Costs Related to Recreation Amenities, Parks and Trail Improvements; Approving the Form of and Directing the Publication of a A Notice of Election and the Sample Ballot Proposition; and Related Matters. 6.CONSENT AGENDA a. MINUTES for 05-15-2024 City Council Workshop and City Council. b. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING. Consideration and possible approval of a Memorandum of Understanding between Price City and Carbon County to provide Fire/Emergency services for the unincorporated areas of the County for the fiscal year 2024. c. INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT: CARBON METRO DRUG TASK FORCE. Consideration and possible approval of an Interlocal Agreement to become effective July 1, 2024, by and among Price City, Carbon County, Wellington City, East Carbon, and Helper City establishing the Carbon Metro Drug Task Force. d. SCADA SYSTEM COLTON WELL #1- Consideration and possible approval of an agreement with Dorsett Controls to design, build and install SCADA at the City's Colton Well #1. Total Cost of services is $26,514.39. e. AGREEMENT: PROJECT 4C-2024 CRACK SEAL- Approval of an agreement with Bonneville Asphalt for Project 4C-2024 Crack Seal Schedules A & B for $152,000.00. f. AGREEMENT: PROJECT 4C-2024 CAPE SEAL-Approval of an agreement with M & M Asphalt Services for Project 4C-2024 Cape Seal, Schedules A & B for $697,833.50. g. PROJECT 2C-2024 PUBLIC WORKS 1/2 TON PICKUP- Consideration and possible approval to purchase a 2024 Ram 1500 Bighorn Pickup from Price Auto Farm Dodge for $55,652.00. Other bids received: Blue Diamond $56,495.00 & Price Auto Farm Ford $56,444.00. h. PROJECT 3C-2024 BUILDING SERVICES 1/2 TON PICKUP-Consideration and possible approval to purchase a 2024 Dodge 1500 Tradesman Pickup from Price Auto Farm Dodge for $44,952.00. Other bid received: Price Auto Farm Ford $47,744.00. i. PROJECT 6C-2024 WATER $ SEWER 1/2 TON PICKUP-Consideration and possible approval to purchase a 2024 Dodge 1500 Tradesman Pickup from Price Auto Farm Dodge for $45,952.00. Other bid received: Price Auto Farm Ford $49,119.00. j. TRAVEL REQUESTS. Mayor Kourianos, UAMPS 2024 Annual Member Conference, August 18-21, 2024, Midway, UT. k. BUSINESS LICENSES.
