- PARK CITY BOARD OF EDUCATION Park City School District Office 2700 Kearns Boulevard May 14, 2024 Closed Session 3:30 p.m. Regular Session 4:00 p.m. Additional information is available the Monday before each meeting at: http://www.boarddocs.com/ut/pcsd/Board.nsf/public Time allocated to each agenda item is approximate and subject to change. The Board may vote to meet in closed session for any of the purposes set forth in Section 52-4-205 of Utah's Open and Public Meetings Act Board members may be participating by telephone. AGENDA 1 Call to Order Pledge of Allegiance 2 Closed Session The Board will adjourn to Closed Session for the purpose of: a. Strategy session to discuss collective bargaining 3 Consent Agenda Regular Session Minutes April 9, 2024 Travel Requests Health Education Instruction Assurances Move This World Curriculum Adoption Contract for Approval-Wit & Wisdom and 95Percent Group Personnel Information April, 2024 Check Register Board Revenue and Expenditures April, 2024 4 Monthly Reports Employee Group Reports Student on the Board Report Chief Teaching and Learning Officer Chief Operations Officer Superintendent Report 5 Discussion 5.1 Facility Update Mr. Mike Tanner will provide a brief overview of various construction projects throughout the district. 5.2 PCSD Green Team-Zero Food Waste Compact Shelby Cornett will be before the Board to present the Zero Food Waste Compact. 5.3 PCHS Teen Center The Board will review and discuss the PCHS Teen Center and determine next steps. 5.4 Budget Overview Business Administrator, Randy Upton will provide a budget overview. 5.5 FY25 Board of Education Meeting Dates The Board of Education will review and adopt the meeting dates for the 24/25 school year. 6 Decision 6.1 FY25 Board of Education Meeting Dates The Board of Education will review and adopt the meeting dates for the 24/25 school year. 7 Policies for Posting The following policies are before the Board for review and posting. Policy 3100 Sexual Harassment Under the Jurisdiction of Title IX Policy 7031 Social Media Policy 7095 Conditions of Employment Policy 9055 Use of Copyright Materials in Schools Policy 10002 Student Conduct and Participation Policy for School Teams and Clubs Policy 11005 Public Information and Media Access to School Facilities and Students 8 Policies for Adoption The following policies have been posted for the required 20 days and are now before the Board for adoption. Policy 1001 Code of Conduct Policy 3000 Shared Decision Making Policy 3012 Non-Discrimination Policy 10001 Bullying, Cyberbullying, Abusive Conduct, Harassment, Hazing and Discrimination Policy 10010 Student Enrollment 9 Public Comment (5:00 PM) The Board of Education wants to hear live input from community members at our meetings. In order to respect and preserve the time allotted to each presenter on the agenda, each speaker will be limited to three (3) minutes. Speakers representing a group will be limited to five (5) minutes. 10 Adjourn Notice: This meeting will be recorded (video and audio) and made available for one year on the district website (www.pcschools.us). In compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this meeting should notify Lorie Pearce at 435-615-0225, at least three working days prior to the meeting.
