- The Mount Pleasant City Council will hold a regular meeting May 14th, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 115 West Main Street, Mount Pleasant, Utah. Welcome -Mayor 1. Opening Ceremony - By Invitation Pledge of Allegiance Opening Prayer Patriotic Message- Jeff McDonald 2. Roll Call - Recorder 3. Approval of Adjustments - Mayor Transaction Register: Dated 04/01/2024 to 04/30/2024 in the amount of (-12,897.43) 4. Approval of Claims and Requisitions - Mayor Claims Register: Dated 04/20/2024 to 05/09/2024 in the amount of $448,830.57. Requisitions: Requisition # 50720240800 Anixter CRH Switchyard CTs in the amount of $17,882.36. - Shane Ward Other Requisitions As needed. 5. Approval of Minutes April 23rd, 2024, Regular City Council Meeting 6. Discussion on MOU with North Sanpete School District Regarding the School Resource Officer- Chief Steve Gray 7. Discussion/Action on the following items: a. Outside City Water Connection- Clay Wagstaff b. Food Truck Ordinance - Planning & Zoning Commission c. Chip Seal Park- Councilman Rondy Black d. Chip Seal Cemetery- Councilman Rondy Black e. City Administrator/Manager/Consultant - Councilman Lynn Beesley 8. Public Participation Members of the public may address the City Council on matters not listed on the agenda. Those interested should sign up on the form just inside the council room door right before the meeting begins. Participation is limited to three minutes. The participant will be allowed to address the Council and may submit documents outlining their issue. The Council cannot take legal action on public comment at this time. At the conclusion of each comment, the Council will have time to respond to criticism made by those who have addressed them, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be placed on a future agenda.
