Rio Grande St., Suite 102, SLC, UT 84101 Notice is hereby given that the Central Wasatch Commission Stakeholders Council Transportation System Committee will hold a meeting on Monday, April 8, 2024, beginning at approximately 3:30 P.M. You may attend the meeting at the anchor location: the CWC offices located at the Gateway, 41 N. Rio Grande Street Ste 102, Salt Lake City, or virtually by registering at the below link. Please note that after registering, you will receive an email containing a meeting access link. https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZcldu2qrjwpG9xLV_Me1y-OkTjSWaPL23NR Please take notice that a quorum the Board of Commissioners (the 'Board') of the Central Wasatch Commission (the 'CWC') may attend the meeting of the Stakeholders Council Transportation System Committee scheduled for Monday, April 8, 2024; beginning at 3:30 P.M. The agenda for that meeting of the Committee is accessible here: Utah Public Notice Website, the anchor location, The Salt Lake Tribune, and Deseret News. Civility and decorum should be applied in all discussions and debate. Difficult questions, tough challenges to a point of view, and criticism of ideas and information are legitimate elements of a free democracy in action. Public officials and the public are encouraged to refrain from making belligerent, personal, impertinent, slanderous, threatening, abusive, or disparaging comments. 3:30 P.M. Opening 1. Chair Danny Richardson will open the public meeting as Chair of the Transportation System Committee of the Central Wasatch Commission Stakeholders Council. 2. Review and approval of the minutes from the March 11, 2024 meeting. 3. Announcements: a. Election of new Co-Chair. b. Stakeholders Council Retreat on May 16th. 3:35 P.M. US Forest Service Discussion 1. The US Forest Service will discuss with the Committee winter and summer recreation access and transportation issues and the potential for trailhead improvements to facilitate transit access. 4:05 P.M. Millcreek Canyon Environmental Assessment 1. Committee members will review and discuss the Millcreek Canyon Environmental Assessment regarding the FLAP Grant. 4:15 P.M. Transportation Systems Committee Priorities Survey 1. Committee members will review and discuss the results of the Transportation Systems Committee priorities survey and determine priorities for the Committee. 2. Committee members will discuss engaging various Salt Lake County municipalities with the priorities survey. 4:35 P.M. UDOT Little Cottonwood Canyon EIS 1. The Committee will hear comments and updates on the UDOT Little Cottonwood Canyon EIS. 4:45 P.M. Selection of Co-Chair 1. The Committee will elect a new Co-Chair. 4:55 P.M. Other Items 5:00 P.M. Closing 1.
