Kaneplex Drive Kanab, Utah 84741 6:00 PM REGULAR BOARD MEETING WELCOME PUBLIC and PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Roll Call Board Members 6:05 PM 1. Minutes a. Approval of Minutes of the March 14th, 2024 Board of Trustees Meeting 6:10 PM 2. Financials --Amanda and Mike a. Approve Payment of Bills b. Review PTIF Statements for Operating Funds, Capital Projects, Misc. Escrow Accounts, and State Bank of Southern Utah check register. Board members sign off on the check register. c. Review new revenues received, including tax revenues and revenues for ongoing projects 6:30 PM 3. Jackson Flat Reservoir and Kanab Irrigation Company Coordination a. Reservoir water update report-Mike b. Report on KCWCD and Kanab Irrigation well project (new pump) - Mike c. Reservoir Recreation and Operational Report, Maintenance Building status- Mike d. Kanab Irrigation Secondary Metering project Status- Mike e. Stellar Vista Observatory MOU- Mike and Rob f. Mariah Wheeler, Jonathan Kerr and Camberley Anderson met with Amanda about Summer Series Music Concerts first Friday of every month starting in May 6:50 PM 4. Cove Reservoir EIS a. EIS Progress report, Mike/Dirk- concerns/legal matters (Executive Session if needed) b. 2024 COVE RESERVOIR FUNDING 7:10 PM 5. Johnson Canyon a. Well # 4 planning and financing 7:20 PM 6. Duck Creek Village/Cedar Mountain Long Valley Water System and Sewer System a. Issues/problems Mike 7:30 PM 7. East Kane County Water System (New Paria and West Clark Bench) a. Update on final bids for construction b. Update on new well drilling and tank construction location and water well bid 7:50 P.M. 8. Public Hearing for the purpose of receiving input from the public with respect to the issuance of the Parity Water Revenue Bonds and any potential economic impact to the private sector from the acquisition of the assets of New Paria Water Company, including real property and water rights funded by the issuance of the Bonds. 8:20 PM 8. Director's Report: a. Board Member Issues b. Report on the Utah Water Users Workshop c. Property Exchange - Ben Clarkson d. Next Meeting Date: May 9th, 2024, 6:00 PM @ Kane County Water Conservancy District Office. All agenda item times are approximate.
