Stakeholders Council Meeting Millcreek City Hall: 1330 E. Chambers Ave. Millcreek, UT 84106 Wednesday, March 20, 2024; 3:30 P.M. Notice is hereby given that the Central Wasatch Council Stakeholders Council will hold a meeting on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, beginning at approximately 3:30 P.M. You may attend the meeting at the anchor location: Millcreek City Hall located at 1330 E. Chambers Avenue, Millcreek, UT 84106, or virtually by registering at the below link. Please note that after registering, you will receive an email containing a meeting access link. https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_O_0wltOJSfqgiyHHemUI4A Please take notice that a quorum the Board of Commissioners (the 'Board') of the Central Wasatch Commission (the 'CWC') may attend the meeting of the Stakeholders Council scheduled for Wednesday, March 20, 2024; beginning at 3:30 P.M. The agenda for that meeting of the Stakeholders Council is accessible here: Utah Public Notice Website, the anchor location, The Salt Lake Tribune, and Deseret News. Civility and decorum should be applied in all discussion and debate. Difficult questions, tough challenges to a point of view, and criticism of ideas and information are legitimate elements of a free democracy in action. Public officials and the public are encouraged to refrain from making belligerent, personal, impertinent, slanderous, threatening, abusive, or disparaging comments. Chair John Knoblock will open the public meeting as Chair of the Stakeholders Council of the Central Wasatch Commission. 1. Chair Knoblock will call for a motion to approve the minutes from the January 17, 2024 Stakeholders Council meeting. 2. Central Wasatch Commission Chair, Mayor Jeff Silvestrini, will address the Stakeholders Council. 3. The Chair and Co-Chair will announce the new members of the Stakeholders Council and ask for brief introductions from each new member. 3:40 P.M. Draft Trails Master Plan Presentation and Discussion 1. Chelsea Phillippe will present Draft Trails Master Plan and engage in discussion with Stakeholders. 4:00 P.M. Central Wasatch Commission Board Updates 1. Staff will discuss the recent meetings and activities of the Central Wasatch Commission Board. 4:05 P.M. Systems Committee Discussions 1. Environment Systems Committee a. February 13, 2024 and March 12, 2024 b. Chair Kelly Boardman and Co-Chair Dan Zalles will discuss the recent activities of the Environment systems Committee. 2. Economy Systems Committee a. February 8, 2024 b. Chair Dave Fields and Co-Chair Morgan Mingle will discuss the recent activities of the Economy Systems Committee. 3. Transportation Systems Committee a. February 12, 2024 and March 11, 2024 b. Chair Danny Richardson and Co-Chair Amber Broadaway will discuss the recent activities of the Transportation Systems Committee. 4. Millcreek Canyon Committee a. February 20, 2024 and March 18, 2024 b. Chair Del Draper and Co-Chair Tom Diegel will discuss the recent activities of the Millcreek Canyon Committee. 5. Recreation Systems Committee a. February 8, 2024 and March 14, 2024 b. Chair Sarah Bennett and Co-Chair Barbara Cameron will discuss the recent activities of the Recreation Systems Committee. 4:40 P.M. Committee Membership and Leadership 1. Stakeholders may request to join Systems Committees: a. Millcreek Canyon Committee (Adam Lenkowski and Dan Zalles) b. Environment Systems Committee (Kirk Nichols) c. Transportation Systems Committee (Stuart Derman) d. Recreation Systems Committee e. Economy Systems Committee 2. Missing Conflict Disclosure and Open & Public Meeting training forms. 4. Thank you to Millcreek for continuing to host our meetings. 5:25 P.M. Stakeholders Open Comment 5:30 P.M. Closing 1. Posted at the office of the governing body of each member entity of the CWC; and 4. Provided to the Salt Lake Tribune and/or Deseret News and to a local media correspondent. The audio recording and transcript of the meeting will be posted for public review. Commissioners will/may participate electronically. Meetings may be closed for reasons allowed by statute. Final action may be taken in relation to any topic listed on the agenda, including but not limited to adoption, rejection, amendment, addition of conditions and variations of options discussed.
