NOTICE OF ELECTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024, the Democratic Presidential Preference Primary Election will be held. Voters registered with the Democratic Party receiving their ballots in the mail may return their completed ballot and signed envelope in the mail, postmarked on or before Monday, March, 4th, or by placing their completed ballot and signed envelope in the ballot drop box located in the lobby of the Grand County Clerk/Auditor's Office at 125 East Center Street. The Primary Election is open to voters of all parties and any active, registered voters not receiving a ballot in the mail can vote in person at the polling place. Early and In-person voting will be held from February 20 to March 4, between 9 am and 4 pm, and on Election Day March 5th from 7 am to 8 pm at the Grand County Courthouse 125 E. Center Street. Voters may call the Grand County Clerk's Office at 435-259-1321 or visit www.vote.utah.gov to obtain election information. The last day to register to vote in this election without a provisional ballot is February 23rd. To be qualified to vote, individuals must be a citizen of the United States; a resident of Utah for at least the 30 days immediately before the election; 18 years of age on or before the day of the election, and currently residing within the voting district or precinct in which the individual applies to register to vote.
